Help us review how we collect arrears in rent payments

Did you know that your rent payments pay for repairs and improvements to your property, as well as the cost of managing your home? This is why it’s important that rent is paid and we collect any debts that build up.

We know many of our tenants face financial difficulties, and our Benefit and Welfare Advisors provide advice and support where they can to help tenants pay their rent and sustain their tenancy.

Currently, if a tenant falls into debt with their rent, we make contact through a series of letters, telephone calls and visits, to avoid people losing their homes. We are now looking at what else we can do to help tenants from getting behind with their rent payments, by inviting residents to help us review our policy in managing rent arrears.
