Salary: £26,208 per annum
Location: Various schemes within Mid Devon, West Devon, South Hams, Exeter City
Hours: Full time; 40 hours to be worked over 5 days, Monday to Friday.

About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Estate Officer to provide a first-class service to our residents at various schemes in Devon.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Keeping the scheme clean and tidy
- Communal grounds maintenance
- Carrying out litter picking
- Helping residents, contractors and staff on a daily basis
- Providing cover for the Estate Officer, North Devon for fire safety inspections and grounds maintenance
- Carrying out simple repairs
- Using IT systems to keep records and correspondence as required
About you
You will often be working alone, so need to be self-motivated and reliable. You’ll be a hard worker who takes pride in doing a good job and keeping our schemes in a clean and tidy condition.
You will be friendly and approachable, acting as the ‘eyes and ears’ of Hastoe on our schemes and regularly interacting with residents and contractors.
Previous experience in a similar role, although welcome, isn’t necessary. We’re looking for the right person, with a can-do attitude, willing to learn and be part of our team.

Annual Leave: Starting at 24 days, excluding UK Public/Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part time) plus 1.5 days complimentary leave, along with the option to purchase additional leave.
Enhanced Pension: Hastoe's employer contributions start at 5% and are based on a matching of your own contribution level, plus 2%, up to a maximum of 8% employer contribution.
