Hastoe complete work at Marshwood site

10/02/2016
Hastoe Housing Association has completed the construction of five houses and two bungalows as part of their new scheme in Marshwood, Dorset.

The scheme, composed of two one-beds, three two-beds and two three-beds, was completed in January 2016. Six of the homes are affordable rent, and one, a two-bed house, is under shared ownership.

Rob Aspray, Regional Head of Development for the west at Hastoe, said: “I’m
delighted to see the completion of the scheme at Marshwood. We have been
working hard with the West Dorset District Council and the Community Land Trust, who have been great throughout the entire process; they are a great example of a community taking control and transforming the future of the local community. It's very rewarding to see this project completed and it’s great to see the homes built.

“At Hastoe, we take great pride in helping communities retain their identity by
building affordable homes intended for local people. These homes mean that
local people won’t need to move away from the area that they were born in, grew up in or work in, and they will be held for the local community in perpetuity.”
