Hastoe Group appoints new Board Member

Hastoe Group announces the appointment of Harry Gibbs as Board Member, making a 14-strong team.
Harry GibbsThis latest appointment follows the recruitment of Elinor Goodman, Ed Buscall and Richard Quallington to the Hastoe board in July this year. Hastoe has also recently appointed Tony Burton CBE as Executive Chair of its subsidiary company, Sustainable Homes.

Harry is currently a Hastoe resident, a former member of the East Region Committee and has been an observer on the Hastoe board for five months so knows the organisation’s background and processes.Harry currently runs a small confectionary business, as well as working in sales at his local football club. Prior to this he worked in customer services for John Lewis. He is also studying for a qualification inbusiness with the Open University. Harry volunteers for the Aston Allotment Association.

Margaret Clark, Chair of Hastoe, said: “We are very pleased to announce Harry’s formal appointment as Board Member. He will help to strengthen our work from the resident’s perspective and he has already demonstrated hispassion for what we do. This is great news for Hastoe and we look forward to working with Harry.”

Harry Gibbs, Hastoe Board Member, said: “I am delighted to be joining the Hastoe Board.  I have thoroughly enjoyed being an observer and I am now looking forward to being fully involved. The work that Hastoe does has never been more important in a society with a shortage of affordable housing.”
