Community

We are committed to working alongside residents to make improvements to the services that we offer.  Getting involved means using your skills and expertise as one of our residents to help shape services and make things better.

We offer a range of ways for residents to become involved so that people can choose a level of involvement that suits them.

There are various ways to get involved:
  • Becoming a Resident Champion - helping Area Housing Managers by acting as our eyes and ears on our smaller housing schemes and monitoring the effectiveness of service contracts.
  • joining or setting up a residents’ association  in your area.
  • attending a focus group for tenants interested in a particular subject.
  • becoming a Customer Services Ambassador to help and advise us with developing and improving our customer services strategy.
  • joining the Hastoe Hundreds Club - residents who provide input and feedback on a number of policies and procedures by phone, email or in writing.
  • helping us to support a local community project by applying for a Hastoe Community Grant.
  • visiting our website from time to time, to learn about the different activities that will be happening.
  • completing phone and postal surveys and/or questionnaires
  • contacting us to keep us informed of activities that you want to see happening or would like help with.
  • suggesting an article for @home, your quarterly resident magazine.
  • joining our Facebook page and posting comments.
